On Monday it was back to school again after an exciting break. I got at school at 7:30 am and you may be wondering why I was there that early. It's because I tried out for soccer! It was a lot of fun. I've never actually played soccer before (other than pe class) so I wanted to give it a shot. Then after school the choir was going to sing the national anthem at a Spurs game (nba). It was really cool to sing and see a basketball game. They ended up winning, 102-100. It was super close!

Then on Tuesday I had soccer tryouts after school so I got home about 7:30 and was so worn out. The next morning when I woke I was so sore!! But I guess thst proves that I actually did something haha. On Wednesday the tryouts were before school again and finally when school was over we headed home and took it pretty easy, Maren and Darian came over for a while too.

Yesterday Delaney and I didn't go to school because we were going on a fieldtrip with one of the guys from Rotary to see the caverns in Sonora. The caverns were so beautiful and it was pretty humid down there and the oxygen was lower than usual. I had never been in a cavern before so I was just in awe. There were crystals and different types of minerals decorating the walls, little pools of water where the bottom had turned a blue color and tunnels leading all over the place. I think we almost spent two hours down there and it sort of reminded me of the Hobbit when they're in the goblins' caves. I also found out I had made the jv soccer team!! I am sooo excited! ⚽️

We were supposed to have practice this morning but it was waaaay too cold. So I got to sleep in a little longer. Nothing too special happened at school. In the evening we went to Dickens on Main again but this time I went with Delaney, Darian and Wade. I had a lot of fun even though I was freezing my butt off.

Now I'm going to bed cause I'm exhausted..
