Thanksgiving
Sooo this is the third time I'm trying to write this post. For some reason the blogg app just shut down twice and everything I had typed got deleted. I was sooo frustrated!
Anyway, Thanksgiving was last Thursday. We all got up in the morning and had waffles (yummy) and then we helped out a bit with the food and went to find the decorations. The Hartson's (my host family's) relatives came over at noon and we all sat down and had the "typical Thanksgiving meal"; mashed potatoes, turkey, cranberries, rolls, pumpkin pies and cheesecake. It was all really good and it was fun to meet a few of their relatives. Anyhow, we literally ate nonstop all day. But that's what Thanksgiving's all about, and saying thanks for everything/everyone you're grateful for of course!😉
Later in the evening, around midnight, Delaney, Brayden, their cousin and her boyfriend and I went Black Friday shopping. It wasn't as hectic as I thought it would be, I mean I didn't see people fighting for the last pair of shoes anywhere. Of course I went to Hollister and Abercrombie and got two pairs of long-sleeved shirts and a pair of sweatpants. We also took pictures with the models haha! We got home around 3 am and I was out in a just a few seconds.
On Friday Liina, Delaney and I worked on our physics project most of the day. We were building catapults and Delaney's dad got super excited and helped us out. Man, I wish I got that excited for physics projects. Ours went 33 m!!
After the catapult building I met up with Maddie and her family and we went to Dicken's on Main Street. They basically shut down Main Street so you could walk around. It's all been decorated with pretty christmas lights and it was just really cozy!
